Met forecasts chilly days ahead in Kolkata

The mercury dropped to 18.1°C on Wednesday — the lowest of the season so far in Kolkata. It could remain below 20°C till the end of the week, said the Met office. A northwesterly wind triggered by snowfall in the upper reaches of Himachal Pradesh was responsible for the chill, weathermen said.
