Muslim Sanskrit teacher wins hearts at RKM

In a classroom at the Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira next to the Belur Math, students listened with rapt attention as Ramzan Ali was explaining a sloka from the Upanishads. Ali, who joined the college on Tuesday, has only taken 3-4 classes for the third-year Sanskrit Honours students but the class has realised his worth. This teacher from Jalpaiguri aims to be a friend, philosopher and guide to his students at this institute run by the Ramakrishna Math and Mission and he seems to be succeeding.
