Anti-CAA stir throws New Town out of gear; internet curb in pockets

With protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act gathering steam in New Town and Rajarhat, thousands of techies working in MNCs at the satellite township had a harrowing time on the first working day of the week. To make things worse, access to internet was limited in some pockets of New Town, including office complexes, by the evening.
