Chilly wind swept through the city that woke up to a teeth-clattering morning on Wednesday, which saw the minimum temperature plunge to 15.4°C — the lowest of the season so far. The maximum temperature, too, slid 4°C below normal, to 22.5°C. The mercury is set to drop further to around 13°C on Thursday, said the Met Office, adding that winter has finally arrived in Kolkata.
