Water relief likely in south Kolkata from March

More than 10 lakh residents of south Kolkata are likely to benefit from a major augmentation at Garden Reach Waterworks from March. As part of the project, construction of a water treatment plant is nearing completion. When it starts functioning, south Kolkata will get an additional 25 million gallons of water daily.
