Worshippers happy with Kolkata airport move

Muslims residing in Bankra locality near Kolkata airport have welcomed the initiative by airport authorities to find an alternative to relocating the century-old mosque situated on the airport premises. With the proposal of relocating the mosque making no headway for over two decades, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has now proposed to shift the path that leads to the mosque.
