WB: Rly man rescues hungry teenager from Bally stn

One evening, while returning home from work at Howrah, railwayman Tapas Bagchi received an SOS from a staffer at Bally station. A girl child was found loitering on the station premises but was unable to say where she lived. Bagchi, who had already embarked on a mission by then to rescue homeless children from stations, got off the local train at Bally and found the girl in distress. There was nobody to take charge of her so late in the evening. Finally, Bagchi took her to his Konnagar home where he lives with his wife and daughter.
