Kol cops to get 8 drones to keep vigil on stirs

To keep an eye on sporadic protests across the city, Kolkata Police is set to procure eight new drones, tenders for which were placed last week. At least four of these flying machines would be able to go beyond 3.5km and remain airborne for a long period. Cops will be using these as long-range drones for now.
