WB govt caps pvt hosp advance deposit at Rs 50k

The West Bengal Clinical Establishment Regulatory Commission (WBCERC) has barred private hospitals from charging more than 20% of the estimated cost of treatment or a maximum of Rs 50,000, whichever is less, as advance deposit from patients at the time of admission.
